1. Introduction

Vivek Hardaha Original ("we," "our," or "us") operates the i-Captain mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use the i-Captain App.

2. Data Collection and Storage (Local Storage)

The core philosophy of i-Captain is your privacy and security.

  • No Account Required: You do not need to create an account, provide an email address, or give your real name to use this App. The App generates a random, anonymous "Captain ID" for you.
  • Local Data Only: All personal information you enter into the App—including your selected habits, quit dates, daily expenses, emergency contacts (SOS), diary entries (Captain's Log), mood tracking, and relapse reasons (Black Box)—is stored locally on your device.
  • We do not collect, transmit, upload, or store your personal data on any external servers or cloud databases. You have full control over your data. If you uninstall the App or clear its data, all your stored information will be permanently deleted.

3. Permissions

The App may request certain device permissions (such as local notifications to send you daily mission alerts). These features function locally on your device and do not transmit personal data to us.

4. Third-Party Services & Links

To provide a complete experience, the App integrates certain third-party services:

  • ASAR Blog Feed: The App fetches the latest recovery articles directly from our blog (asar.blog) using a standard JSON feed. This does not track your reading habits on our end.
  • Google Play Services & AdMob: In the future, the App may use Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google AdMob may collect and use certain data (such as advertising IDs and usage data) to provide personalized ads. For more information, please review the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
